Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for purchases made through ScreenSei, a macOS screen recording and editing application provided by Emilio Damian Lucas Guardado, doing business as ScreenSei (“ScreenSei,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). All purchases are processed by our payment provider, Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing and payment collection on our behalf.

1. Eligibility for a Refund

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the original transaction date, no questions asked. This applies to both one-time purchases and the initial charge of a new subscription.

2. Subscription Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand. We recommend canceling before your renewal date if you no longer wish to continue. Refunds for renewal charges are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed, particularly if the renewal was not canceled in advance and the Service was used during that billing period.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with the email address used for the purchase and, if available, your order or transaction ID from the Paddle receipt. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.

4. Processing

Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method used at checkout. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days for the refund to appear on your statement. We do not process refunds directly; all refunds are issued through Paddle’s payment system.

5. Exceptions

We reserve the right to decline a refund request in cases of suspected abuse of this policy, including repeated purchase-and- refund cycles or violations of our Terms of Service.
